Replacing a lighter socket

Yes I need to know how to replace a lighter socket on my 95 Plymouth Voyager. I only use it to hook cell phone cord to charge up phone and now it is not working. I have already checked the fuse in the van it is ok and the fuse in cell phone cord. So I know it is the socket. Now my problem how do you replace it do you have to get to it from behind to get it lose if so how? Thanks for any help Steve

Go to any parts store and get a replacement lighter socket/element. It comes with the needed instructions.

Disconnect the battery while doing the repair.
