tires and rims/wheels/mags (3 Buick Century
Next thing to change on the buick is the tires and wheels. I have wimpy 14 inch tires on it I would like to go to 15 or 16 inch wheels and tires. I have about 8 miles of clearance. Bilstein shock and struts will also go on the car. Anyone with a hollander manual know which cars wheels will fit a 93 Buick Century?

Stick with the OEM size.
You'l throw the speedo off, possibly screw up the computer/sensors/driveability and you're asking for hot wheels to be stolen on a car like that.
You're likely to have clearing and space issues with it. Stick with the OEM size if you MUST change over the wheels to aftermarket wheels (I find most are ugly...the OEM wheels are nicer..maybe try to find some good OEM upgrade wheels for this Century).

Actually looking for some takeoff wheels/tires or just plain rims. I owned a 87 Buick Century any put on 205/70/15s on the car and the difference was amazing. The speedo was off about 3/4 miles per hour but that was the only hangup and something I could easily live with. xiii13 nice site, thanks. Just looking to find out if lets say stock Firebird wheels will fit or not.

OEM wheels also have the proper slots in them which aid in cooling the brakes.
Firebird wheels are RWD while Century models are FWD. Usually a different wheel.
Mixing and matching OEM wheels to cars to which they do not belong or are not designed for is dangerous.

Thanks for the info guys, I put some nice Toyo 205/70/14s on it and the car is riding nice, especially with the stalling issue taken care of. As I side note I also found a storage garage up in Granby, Connecticut next to the airport. Indoor storage in a heated hanger and they will start my van 2x a month.
