fuel pressure

Hello, I am troubleshooting a friends '94 GMC 5.7 liter 2wd 1/2 ton pickup later today and I think it is fuel pressure related. Already changed filter and am going to check pressure--Question is what is the proper running pressure for this engine??

If the pressure isn't listed in the repair manual that your using, have you tried www.alldata.com ?

It is not my truck so I do not have a manual --I just thought someone out there would know off hand or have a manual handy!

Redneck:

Check www.autolibrary.org.

This truck has a rubber diagphragm in the upper metering body that is the pressure regulator. Any pats store will have it. Common problem
