What type of grease?

What type of grease do you use in a grease gun to lube your grease fittings on automoblie? And can I use the same on my riding mower with grease fittings? Thanks Steve

The best I have found

We use Mobil 1 Synthetic grease in the tube. Take a look at the -60 to 600 degree use ratings compared to some of the old lithium based greases.

We use it for everything from automobiles to rototillers. It never seem to dehydrate like some of the other greases that have a soap base.

I use any automotive based grease in my gun. I find them all to be reasonably good. I grease my vehicles at every oil change (3 months), so by the time it needs it, time for new grease.
