window on 92 t-bird

the window on my 92 T-bird is off track. how do i put it back on track without having to take it to a body shop and pay somebody to do it ? it seems like a rather simple repair but i dont know where to start. any suggestions ? i already took off the door panel and used a flashlight to look inside the door and i can see that it is COMPLETELY off of track. do i have to take the window itself out and re-set it in ? any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated. thanks alot guys. i have had alot of good luck with this forum. keep up the good work !

Could be alot of things causing it to come off track...depends on how it is secured in the track.

See if www.autolibrary.org has anything or hit your Ford dealer's parts dept. for an exploded view of the area to see what you are up against.
