1995 oldsmobile eighty eight tie rod

I need to know how to pull the back end of the tie rod off the steering gear, it's the new rack&pinion, I can't get it off with the fork, and I don't see any pins to knock out, so how do i get the stupid thing out??

i take it your trying to take off the inner tie rod. well it is threaded to the rack. You need a inner tie rod socket to get that sucker off

Lisle Tool Company makes a special inner tie rod rack tool. Any parts store has it or Autozone will probably rent it to you for free.
