Honda Accord LXi

I have a 1988 Honda Accord LXi and recently (in this horrible heat), my air conditioning will not work for this reason..

my Rear Defroster fuse keeps blowing. I replaced it many times, and had it blow within 10 seconds of turning on my AC. I was told that there was probably a short in it somewhere and I was wondering if it was at all possible to fix this myself without having to get it professionally done. I would like to save myself some money because I do have a little electrical experience (just not with cars). Any suggestions/help would be very much appreciated.
Thanks.

You can start with the autolibrary link in my signature file. The first step is a system diagram which will tell you where to start looking for shorts and possible pinched/grounded wires.
