Placement of TCC Soleniod, on 86 Cavalier, 2.8

Stalling out when come to full stop. Will start up, but put into drive and will stall. Doesn't happen when cold. Only when run for 20 minutes or more.(Warmed up) Had error code on mass air flow sensor and replaced. Also replaced fuel filter. Assume TCC soleniod is external and somewhat in plain sight.

To verify a stuck TCC solenoid, locate and temporarily disconnect the square 4 wire plug (1-3 cavities occupied) at the front of the transaxle. Plug clip's on the bottom. If the symptoms disappear, the solenoid's sticking. Extended driving with the TCC disabled may cause internal damage due to overheating, and will reduce gas mileage by 3-4 mpg. The solenoid is behind the transaxle end cover (driver's side of vehicle). Fairly straightforward replacement. While you're at it, drain the lower pan and replace the filter to get rid of any ferrous contaminants.
