I have a brake prob.

`96 Dodge Intrepid SE 3.5L Auto Trans.

Its actually a weird problem. Sometimes my brakes squeak and sometimes they dont. It usually happens 1/3 of the time. Its really weird, because it doesnt have to do w/ any weather condition, this happens rain, sunshine, hot, cold, nite, day..... The problem is that its not on a consistent basis, so I cant try to correct it. I took it into a shop and they inspected them (for 10 bucks, those *******s) and they said that they are perfectly fine and theres nothing that they can really do.

What could be the cause and solution for my little problem? Thanks for the help.....

The quality of the pads is usually to blame. Use only good quality OEM, Bendix, Raybestos or Wagner pads.
