slow electric windows.

'94 honda accord 4-door, 4cyl vtec.

the windows roll down ok, but they are slow, and it seems that it's working hard to get the windows down. do i need new motors? also, the power locks keep trying to lock after they have been locked. need new actuators?

thanks,
mitch.

Call a Honda dealer and see if they recommend any lube on the tracks of the windows. If so, find out what it is, and apply it. That might help. Barring that, likely old lazy motors.

The lock issue sounds like a central module problem if so equipped (the computer that commands the locks on some vehicles).

Honda does have a paste silicone lube in a tube, works well.
