windshield replacement

I was wondering if anyone could offer some helpful advice on replacing your own windshield?
I own a 1993 Mazda Precidia, any help would be greatly appreciated, thank-you,

We don't get that model here in the States.

I do not recommend you change your own windshield. If you do it incorrectly, the crash structure of the vehicle is compromised greatly and it is unsafe. It is worth it to have a competent auto glass shop install it.

Is your's cracked? Sometimes, if the crack or chip is the size of a thumbnail or slightly larger, you can pick up a glass repair kit for a cheap price. They look ok afterward.

If it's really bad, I am with Joe, have someone else do it. Ask you insurance company who they recommend, don't let any old yahoo do it for you even if it's a bargain, unless you want to be digging glass nuggets our of your face if you wreck.
