Shock / Strut Repair

I own a 1994 Ford Mustang, with a 6 Cyl. engine, manual shift.
I have a rubbing noise in the passenger side rear and think I need to replace the shocks / struts in the rear end of the car. Every time I go over a bump in the road, the rubbing noise shows up. I've never done this type of repair before, and wonder how difficult it is. On a scale of 1-5, my auto repair knowledge is about a 3. Thanks.

Check the autolibrary.org link I have bookmarked below for the R&R procedure and see if it's something you can handle.
