85 honda civic re-installing head


How do I re-install heads on Honda civic '85? Do I line up timing belt notch? Or what? Help. I did not do the actual removing of them & the guy that did is now in jail. Helllllppppp

Check the autolibrary.org link in my signature file to see if that has the R&R information you need.

Barring that, hit your library or parts store for a repair manual. Money well spent with the pictures, torque values, diagrams and procedures.

And be ABSOLUTELY sure the timing belt is properly aligned before you try cranking it or you may be taking it back off again for bent valves.
