Unhappy Drywall

I'm taping new drywall. In New York, the humidity is so high that it takes 2-3 days for each coat of compound to dry. Does anyone have any suggestions for speeding up the process?

Cool

Sure.
Put a circulating fan (set on High) in the room directed at the drywall area that you want to dry faster.
Good Luck!

yes, we do have some high humidity here in NY but I never see it take two or three days for compound to set. Are you sure your not putting it on too heavy?
