Drywall repair

Anyone else find registering on this site a pain in the ()()?

Anyway, I just removed wallpaper in the bathroom. It came off fairly easily, but pulled off the drywall paper layer in several small areas. I tried to patch with spackle. but it is too thick. Anyone have any good ideas about products/methods I should use to get the perfect walls?

If there is just damaged paper, you can prime it and sand the fuzzy projections off. Touch up spackling for minor depressions is easy with vinyl spackle or lightweight joint compound. Sand it smooth with some 120 grit sandpaper. Prime before painting.

Hope this helps.
