Cracking Grout in bathrooms

Just had my bathroom remodelled. Limestone on floor, half of wall, tub surround and shower. Grout is cracking where floor meets walls and tub surround stone meets adjoining walls and floor. Since it is all grout, I guess by definition expansion joints were not used. How do I fix this? Remove the grout and 1. use caulk or 2. is there something that can be added to new grout to make it more elastic

The areas you described, I would have used caulk in, is this the same guy who did your drywall work?

Go to a big tile distributor. They have colored caulk.

HD has some colored caulks also, but a real tile shop will definitely have what you need. So I guess this contractor isn't on your Christmas card list!

Hate to bring up another potential problem, but did this guy seal the grout?

Yeah, I went to a tile store and bought the stuff that was recommended by the mfgr for sealing both the grout and the limestone. He did one coat and after he left I did one more. That was about 8 months ago.

Good deal, same place will have your colored caulk to match your grout. Good luck.
