I need to know how to make stucco thicker. If anyone can help real quick I would be very greatful!!!

I don't think that there is a way to make the finish stucco thicker. You could apply the base coat in a thicker application.

I have taken the rock surround off of my fireplace and thought I would try to use stucco on it to fill in where the morter was left. I have since found it will not work. So I am using joint compound to fill in the low spots.Thank you for your replies.
