Patching corners
I cant seem to find any information on patching corners. All my corners (windows and archways - I guess that is what you call them) are rounded, theyre formed with a metal or aluminum, not sure which. And they chip like crazy. When I try to patch the chips they just chip again and its impossable to plaster it evenly (where its not noticable that they have been chipped). What do I need to do to fix this? Also the along the edges of the metal the drywall cracks, and it appears warped, not to mention that they dent. Any suggestions for that?
Thanks for any suggetions..

You could try using some quick set mud to do the chip repairs, it sets up harder & faster than regular drywall mud and would be less likely that the chipping would reoccur, but no guarantees. The quick set compound is available from most lmbr yds or big box home centers. Comes in powder form in a bag. It's available in 15-90 min compounds, I would suggest that you try the 90 min as it'll give the maximum working time to do your repairs. Good luck!
