The moisture/humidity a hot tub generates can ruin the sheetrock and anything else sucepticle to moisture. If you do install it indoors makes sure the walls and ceiling are painted well with enamel [latex is fine] also you need to provide ventilation to remove the damp air.

I have hot hot tubs/spas indoors for about 13 years now. A good cover will contain 98% of the moisture when the spa is not being used. You will need ventilation to remove the humidity/moisture when you use the spa but the cover will make it much easier to maintain over the long term. I have not even had any trouble when using regular wall board (not green board), though the moisture resistant green style would be better.
