cracked drywall joint
I have a cathedral ceiling in my family room that has developed a crack at the point where the ceiling comes to a 'V'. It runs almost the length of the joint, about a 1/16th wide, and has gotten worse since summer. The house is 10 years old and the ceiling is drywall over scissor trusses. We moved in about 6 months ago and want to start painting the entire house. How should I repair this crack? I was thinking of using latex caulk so that it would remain flexible through the seasonal changes. I would apprieciate some advice from the pros. Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas to all.

The correct way would be to tape and mud HOWEVER caulking should work, especially if it can be done without it being highly visible [so it don't look caulked]
Be sure to use an acrylic siliconized latex caulk which is what the better caulks are. Polyurathane caulk is also good but pricey and sometimes hard to find. Use of a damp rag or sponge can help to smooth the caulking out.
