I have noticed in three corners of my home mold and mildew forming all on outside walls. I have cleaned up and it keeps coming back. I have since discovered that my gutters have gone bad(real bad) and are getting them replaced, but now how do I repair the damage on the inside of my home? DO I need to remove that section of wall and replace. All three places are in the corner at the bottom. Or should I sand the paint away Prime with KILZ and repaint? One corner is Drywall the other two corners are plaster? If I have to replace those portions of wall can someone tell my how?
Thanks

Mold and mildew require 2 things to grow - heat and moisture. Bleach will usually kill mildew. If the plaster/drywall is still sound, wash the affected areas with bleach water, rinse and then prime with kilz.
