patching holes in ceiling
I removed 2 plant hooks from my ceiling that left 2 two inch holes in my ceiling. I have used patch kits for my walls. Is there such a thing for the ceiling? What is the best way to patch the holes in my ceiling? Thanks/Jina

If the ceiling has texture you will need to remove it around the small area to be patched. There are basically 2 ways to repair a 2" hole. You can mud and tape [probably like your patch kit] add and smooth mud [when dry] as needed. The other is to cut a piece of drywall larger than the hole, then back cut it removing all the gypsum except enough to plug the hole. Use the excess paper as your tape and mud in place.
Once the repair is acceptable, texture [if needed] and paint.
