LInes in drywall seams

I have drywalled my basement and primed the walls and am gettign ready to paint. I did notice a few spots, even after I went over the walls before priming, that have little gouges where a little speck got on the wall as I was feathering out the seams.

What is the best/easiest way to removes these? I was just thinking about mixing up some really thin mud and putting in on there and sanding a re-priming?

Sounds like a plan

Actually that is SOP for drywall and painting work.
