OKAY. I PATCHED THE SEAMS IN MY CEILING DRY WALL.. NOW HOW DO I GET THE TEXTURE TO MATCH THE REST OF THE CEIL. IT'S NOT POPCORN OR STUCCO.. IT'S ORANGE PEEL. ALSO.. EVEN AFTER REPAIRING THE SEAMS IN MY PATIO... IT LAST ABOUT THREE YEARS AND CRACKS AGAIN. HELP!

Cool

You should be able to match an orange peel drywall texture by changing how thick the spray mixture is. Start with a thick mix and add water until the desired spray pattern is reached. You should also be able to change the pressure that you spray the texture with to change the look of the finished texture. Spray samples on scraps of sheetrock (letting them dry awhile) until you get a look that matches. Remember how much water you add so you can repeat the process later if you need to again. If the seams on your porch crack every three years, it must be from moisture or structural movement. You may need to seal or ventillate the porch to control moisture or add bracing or stronger framing members to strengthen the structure.
