Question

how much hardener should one use in ratio to filler? is the "happyface formula" correct?how much shrinkage should i expect? i'm filling a crack on a steel door. i never used filler before.someone said add the face on the happyface using hardener.also how much time do we have to work it?
helpless right???

The instructions on the can should tell you how much hardener to use. Generally the more hardener you use, the faster it sets. The amount of working time you have should be on the can also.

I am assuming the instructions on the can is un-readable. I have forgoten the exact amount, but for about a half of a cup put about 1/8 inch bead 1 inch long, stir thoroughly, work quikly, have the crack free of debri and paint, sanded and wiped clean before mixing, it will set up fairly quik.
