taping new drywall in basement

just finished a new bathroom in basement with drywall. Turned out good. Now doing the rest of the basement and have been reading about metal backed inside corners instead of the paper. Is this a good idea?

No it isnt because you wont have a plum or square corner in the place. Those inside corners are straight and wont flex. Use paper tape instead. It will be easier and look better.

Thanks for the reply. Stared working on it today and decided that paper was probably the way to go. I will now use paper for sure. Thanks,
