Hole in Ceiling

I have a hole in the ceiling of the bathroom around the shower cord. Any advice on how I can repair this hole?

Welcome to the forums.

I'm at a loss. What do you use that for in a shower ?

It is just outside shower cubicle in the bathroom. It is used to turn on the hot water for the shower.

I'm guessing your located in the UK. I've never seen that type of setup for water in the States.

It looks like you would need to remove that fitting and install a plate behind it. That would require drilling holes in the plate.

Can you leave a link to what that unit looks like not installed.... like maybe a manufacturers link.

IF the unit/switch is mounted solidly, you might get by with flat taping the gap. Basically you'd smear a thin layer of joint compound on the ceiling around the hole then press/smooth a piece of drywall tape on to it, let dry, apply another coat of j/c, repeat if necessary, sand, remove dust, prime and paint.
