Fixing Nail pops in California Knockdown Ceiling

My house is about 9 years old now & I've recently noticed signs of drywall screws or nails pops on our California knockdown ceiling.

How do I repair the nail pops while blending in the repair with this type of ceiling finish?

Is california knockdown the same as regular knockdown texture ??

Basically you'd reset or remove the offending fasteners and then install a screw next to it. You'll have to mud over the screws but with a little practice you should be able to make the mud blend.

Ya I think it is the same....in Canada we've always called it that.
