how to FIX this?

My dog decided to munch on this corner and some other ones..like door trim, table trim, and casing..
Those are wood that can be replaced. How easy and doable is to fix this for an "amateur level" DIY homeowner

I know already how to remove my dog's teeth ..

This is easy. Get some joint compound. You can buy it in small quantities. Spread some in with a flat taping knife. it might take a couple coats. it’s better to put on thin coats and use more than one than try to build it all out at once, When it is a little fuller than flush, sand it even and check for imperfections. Fix those id any then sand again prime and paint.
