ceiling tape repair

Some of the tape on our cathedral ceiling has come loose. The ceiling has a spatter type texture. I was wanting some tips on how my husband and I could do the repair work ourselves. Or if that is even possible. In one area it is in the middle of the drywall between the wood beams, all the way across the ceiling and the other areas are right above the walls.

Cool

Remove the old loose drywall tape.
Mud in new stick-on mesh drywall tape as smoothly as possible with a damp sponge while the mud is still wet.
Prime is with sander-primer-sealer.
You can get spray-on ceiling texture to match the existing ceiling texture.
Paint it to match.
Good Luck!
Mike
