Wallboard by Electric Box

Replacing a broken wall tile by electric outlet and electric box was loose. When taking out tile wall board came loose. How do I repair without taking more tile off.? Can I cut a piece of sheetrock and tape it? But how do I get the electric box so it is not loose anymore?

Device boxes are usually nailed to a wall stud. Nails are probably loose. You may be able to just nail back in, or if nail holes are wallowed, move the box 1/4" or so up or down the stud and re-nail. Be sure and open (turn off) your breaker/fuse before doing this.
Yes, you can patch your dryboard and tile over that.
