Removing stucko from basement walls

I would like to know if anyone knows how to remove stucko from a concrete block basement wall.
Please help if you can.

You will be fighting a losing battle there, Mike, if you are talking about real stucco properly applied to a cement or cinder block wall. I suppose you could take a wide masonry chisel to the stuff, but that would be a career move for you. What's the purpose in wanting to remove it? Are you just wanting a smooth wall for appearance sake? Have you considered building a 2 X 4 stud wall and covering with sheetrock?
