Unhappy neighbor's 2 dogs

My neighbor across the road from my house has 2 Lahso Apsos. She constantly allows them to go freely on the road, and in people's property. Yesterday, she let them both out and they went in my garden and deficated in my Bleeding Heartd. I tried talking to her, but she just shrugs this off and acts very snobbish about this. Please advise me on this problem. I have a dog that is leased even on my property. Help!

If you have tried talking to her with no helpful response the only other thing you can do is start calling animal control or police. It's only a matter of time before one of them gets hit by a car if they run free.

neighbors dogs

I agree with the above...call Animal Control to have them picked up. But DO NOT CALL THE POLICE - there isn't anything they can do about it.

Not necessarilly true, if the town in question has a leash law or ordinance, then there is most definetly something they can do about it.

And to keep them out of your garden (or elsewhere), you might try a motion-activated sprinkler.

A little pricey, but will do the job.

Hi Everyone!
I've had a similar problem. The exception is that the dog in question is a min pin (not a problem) with owners that walk their dog in everyone's yard. Right up to the front door! Their only excuse is..."If I pull him it will break his neck." I've told them try to use a harness. My dog (pit/chow/shep mix) got out and attacked their dog. Luckily, their dog is faster than mine and all he got was a scratch on the tummy. I offered to accompany them to the vet and would pay for the charges. They agreed and called the cops anyway. So when the police showed up, he said it was their fault (he spoke to another neighbor, whom stated that the dog was up by our front door). He compared the dogs to kids. I paid for it anyway, I thought it was my responsibility as a dog owner...err...slave. But the problem is...they continue to walk their dog in everyone's yard. So I completely know how you feel Jasmine. Unfortunately, the owners do keep their dog on a leash. I'm almost tempted to walk my dogs down to their house and let them do their "business".
