Sick Bunny?

Sick Bunny?
Hey...I am new to this bunny thing, and I have had my little rabbit for about a week. Throughout the week, she has been active, running around, and eating fine. Today she seems to be mellow and will not touch her food. I was wondering if anyone could help me and possible tell me if it is just normal behavior or if she is actually sick. She has a vet. appointment today, but it is until 5:20pm (four hours from now)...so I just wanted to know if she is actually alright. Thanks.

The vet should be able to give you a fair amount of information about your rabbit. It may be helpful to purchase a book about rabbits. They are interesting pets, but have their own idiosyncracies.

To the original poster:
If you're still around, I'd like to know what happened with your bunny. Chances are she had a problem with something. Either her diet was off and something gave her gas, or she had some type of gastrointestinal slowdown. It doesn't take much, and rabbits are usually very good at hiding their illnesses.
