Chameleon Habitat

I want a chameleon.

I just don't want to buy one of those screen cages.

I'd prefer a glass habitat.

Anyone got one?

I don't have one, but here's some info you can read as it states glass enclosures promote a good place for bacteria to grow, causes the chameleon to develop stres-related diseases...etc. You should check it out.

Chameleons are tree dwellers, and they'd be living crippled without good climbing habitat.

My neighbour has a chameleon. It lives in the small (indoor) orange tree and adjoining houseplants. A heatlamp points at the orange tree. And that's the whole set-up, no glass, no cage. The chameleon rarely ventures elsewhere.

I had a lizard in an aquarium once - it spent a lot of time sliding it's nose against the glass.
