Stains from weepy eyes on new pooch
My next-door neighbor just got a mini-poddle for her daughter. The dog is white, the hair below his eyes is stained brown {eyes weeping}.What can be done to remove this safely? Thanks for any help.

There are a lot of tear-stain removers available. Some even come in wipes instead of drops. If this is just normal discharge any of those should work OK.
You might check out a couple of resources on line--I like Drs. Foster & Smith because the company was founded by vets. They have extensive FAQs on their site and many testimonials regarding specific products.
I have used Diamond Eye on my Collie to remove the same pinky/brown stains from his white paws. He tends to lick a lot due to grass allergies in the Suummer.
