Pointer pees

First, I want to thank everyone that gave me the info on my pointers diarrea and the problems between my two dogs. They get along great now. Now, my new problem is that my pointer can be in the backyard all day. Plays and lays around in the backyard. Comes into the house says hi to everyone. Then either pees or takes a crap in my sons room or by my sewing area. He has done it in those places before. I've clean it and sprayed it with bleach. Plus clean it with bleach. He still goes there. Any suggestions.

Try Oxyclean!

Hi Cathy,
I don't have dogs, but as the mother/grandmother to seven (yes, seven) cats (one of whom is 18 years old and blind so she doesn't always get to the litter box in time), I've found OxyClean to be the best urine neutralizer. Since it addresses organic substances, it will neutralize the urine and greatly prevent repeat accidents in the same location.
Give it a shot!
Helen

He sounds mixed up. When you let him in, watch where he goes. Follow him. If he starts to do his business, a very firm "NO" and lead him back outside. Thats how you have to train them in the beginning. A happy "potty party" should follow to let him know this is where he should do his thing. Good luck.
