The site seems to have some good information, but it definitely has products for sale as part of all of the advice. Caveat emptor.

 

There are many excellent websites that provide pet information and many of these have products for sale and links to websites with products for sale. The website in question is particularly laden with links and ads which dominate the site. No matter what you click you get a page with ads and links to pages with ads.

While the site may provide some helpful info, it is an advertising site. All of the "bigwhatever.com" websites are developed for the purpose of advertising. There are hundreds of these 'big' websites, a list of which can be found at http://www.whois.ws/whois_index/b/domain_list.b.0365.php

Domain website advertising gets paid based on pay-by-click and pay-by-sale. Two of the largest owners of such domains are Google and Yahoo. If I am not mistaken, the website advertised here is a Yahoo domain.

There is no advertising allowed in the doityourself.com forums. If you wish to advertise, please contact the Forum Administrator.
