Lets Talk Chickens And Eggs
I have been raising chicks from incubating eggs for about 9 months now. I have about 200 pullets, I'm getting about 75 eggs a day now. I've sold them at the flea market and little farmers market in town. I'm backing up in eggs and hate for them to waste. Any ideas of what to do? Any recipes that would use alot of eggs? Anyone canned or pickled eggs?
Any good ideas are appreciated..

You might also want to eat some of those chickens. That's quite a number for a single household.
You should have no problem giving away or selling eggs. You can donate eggs to local food banks and shelters.
Have you checked the price of eggs in the store lately. The price has skyrocketed.

Make a batch of egg salad. I usually spend about 1.5 doz per batch and it's just my girl and I, and it goes pretty fast.
Or
Egg and potato salad.
Or
Google "ways to use up lots of eggs"

Thanks guys, all great ideas... I've made both egg and potatoe salds and have given to neighbors. I know people would appreciate a good country egg compared to a store bought egg. I just need to find a way to get them on the market.

I bet you could find some regular customers. What's that, about 43 dozen a week. 1 to 2 dozen a week doesn't seem unreasonable for a family. So you just need about 30 people to be regulars.
I know I'd take a dozen fresh a week if I had a source.
