I have two beautiful Ragdoll kittens that are just barely 1 year old now. They are very sweet and gentle, but they do not like to be held or cuddled. They follow me around and will sit on my desk while I work, but I can only hold them for a few seconds before they struggle to get down. They will only sit on my lap for a minute before they jump off. When I first got them, they slept right next to my face, but we had a trip planned and had to go away for a week. We had someone taking care of them everyday, but she didn't stay with them overnight. After we returned, they were both more aloof. Did the trip away change them? Will they become more loving again? I want them to be my cuddle babies so much... Any information would be appreciated. Thank you! - Hazel-

Ok bird people. Cat brought in some sort of juvenile (early/mid flying stage) grosbeak (normally its sparrows), just saw an adult for the first time yesterday, beautiful little bird. She didn't get a chance to eat it as she had to show it to me first. Well, it got away from her, I put it outside. Thought it was prob dead/dying from wounds, but here it is 3 hrs later and I see it under a shrub near the front of the house, alert and alive. I'm sure it was caught in the rear of the house. Looked at a couple of sites, doesn't really address this about wild birds. Wife says let nature take its course, but I know the young ones will dehydrate/starve pretty quickly. Don't think the adults will find it where it is, but maybe I'm wrong. Should I try to move it back to the rear or what "she who must be obey'ed" says? Prob have nature's answer by the time I get a reply Oh, and please, no cat's killing birds should be shot stuff, ok? My yard, my cat, doing what she was designed by nature to do.
