How do you teach this ??
I have a 3 months old puppy and having a hard time to teach him do his business outside. No matter how long we stay with him outside he prefers "decorating" indoor
.
Any thoughts ?

First off......You MUST be patient, Consider that YOU werent Potty trained in 3 months. Go to a Pet supply store, and get a spray can or bottle of "Stain and Soil" remover. While not 100% perfect, it beats tossing the couch.....You must remove as much of the "Decoration Evidence" as Possible. Any trace of his scent is an open invitation , that it is OK to be there.
Surprisingly enough, the term " Left you a present" does have some merit. It's his, and he will likely be proud of it. So Take your gift, and save it, admire it, and put it on display.......Somewhere OUTSIDE.....And let him see you leave with it. Eventually he will get the hint, that gifts are to be left outdoors.
For a while you will have to get used to HIS SCHEDULE...When he wants to do that, depends on him, Not what time you get home from work, or what time you finish supper...
Now the tuff part.....Since he cant talk, think if there could be any reason he doesnt want to be outdoors....My dog was terrified of the "Garden Gnome" for almost 6 months....Once we moved the Gnome..She made new territory .
He will likely take kindly to his OWN SPACE, once he figures out where he wants to be.
