Exclamation Bad cat!!! Someone help

I'VE ALWAYS LIKE CATS, SO FOR MY BDAY IN 2007 I WAS GIVEN A LITTLE KITTEN. MY SISTER NAMED HIM KITKAT. I AM A FIRST TIME CAT OWNER SO I PRETTY MUCH LEARN AS I GO. WHEN I GOT HIM MY SISTER AND I HAD AN APARTMENT. HE REALLY DIDNT BOTHER MUCH. NOW I HAVE MY OWN APARTMENT AND MAN DOES HE BOTHER. HE WAKES ME UP PRETTY MUCH EVERY HR STARTING AT 2AM. HE EITHER RUGS HIS FACE ON MY FACE, LICKS ME OR DIGGS HIS CLAWS INTO MY BED(I BOUGHT HIM A SCRATCHING POST)...OH YEAH AND OF COURSE HE MEOWS. HE HAS AN AUTOMATIC FEEDER SO I KNOW HE IS NOT HUNGRY, I HAVE TO LEAVE THE WATER RUNNING IN THE BATHROOM BECAUSE THAT IS THE ONLY WAY I CAN GET HIM TO DRINK WATER! I KICK HIM OUT MY ROOM, THEN HE LIKE BAGS AGAINST THE DOOR SO I HAVE TO LET HIM BACK IN. I'VE TRIED A SPRAY BOTTLE. HE RUNS AFTER I SPRAY HIM BUT THE COMES BACK IN A FEW MINUTES. I'VE PUT PENNYS IN A CAN AND IT HAS THE SAME EFFECT AS THE SPRAY BOTTLE. I PUSH HIM OFF THE BED BUT HE JUMPS RIGHT BACK ON THE BED. LATELY I HAVE TO LOCK HIM IN THE BATHROOM TO GET SOME SLEEP AND WELL, LETS JUST SAY HE HATES THAT! WHEN I LET HIM OUT, MY RUNS ARE ALL MESSED UP, HE EVEN RIPPED MY CURTAIN. I LOVE HIM TO DEATH BUT MAN HE IS A BUTT HEAD.
TO TOP IT OFF I AM EXPECTING. I HAVE TROUBLE SLEEPING ALREADY AND HE IS NOT HELPING. WHAT IF HE CONTINUES THIS AFTER THE BABY IS BORN???
OH AND WAIT THERE IS MORE. THIS CAT ACTUALLY BITES ME. ILL WALK TO THE BATHROOM AND HE ATTACKS MY LEG. AND WELL HUMAN INSTINCTS, I KICK HIM AND HE COMES RIGHT BACK BUT MORE AGGRESIVELY. WHAT IF HE TRIES THIS WITH MY BABY!!!!!
I KNOW I WROTE A LOT BUT I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO. I CANT GIVE HIM AWAY BECAUSE HE IS TOO AGRESSIVE. I CANT GET ANOTHER CAT BECAUSE I LIVE IN A 1BDRM APT...2 CATS IS NOT COOL.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

there are a few forums specifically related to pet issues. I'd either try to
find them online, or even in previous threads in this subforum, because
it sounds like as you get the answers to the above questions, you would
get additional information you might not have thought to ask in the process.
..........
Of course a cat owner may answer sooner and make the above moot.

Your cat isn't bad , he's bored and starved for attention. I assume your away at work most of the day - What do you think he does - He sleeps. When you get home he's happy to have you around and wants to play he not the least bit tired. Wear his little butt out! PS he'll drink when he is thirsty, it sounds like the cat has your number.

I see him, him, him...I'm hoping he's been neutered? If not that could be an issue.

my suspicions as well.

kitkat, if this is a male and has not been neutered, they can be quite aggressive. That is their nature. I do not know how beneficial it is to neuter an older male so you may have a problem without a real solution but if the vet believes neutering would still be beneficial, chopping off the nuggets would be the way to go.

Male cats almost always become calmer after this procedure. I'm still not convinced it has a true medical reason. I think they suspect you will remove even other parts if they misbehave.

just kidding. removing the testosterone factories between his legs will make a huge improvement in his aggressiveness.

Oh, and please do us a favor. Do not type in all caps. It makes it hard to read.

As a two cat owner I agree with the above posts. He needs attention or something to do. Make sure he has toys and a window to look out of.
If he has not been snipped do so.

KitKat, I agree with the other posters here. If he is not neutered, get that done ASAP. He sounds like he is totally bored and lonely. The aggression seems to be his only available response to get attention. How much time to you spend one on one with him when you are home playing? I also have to agree. Put fresh water in a bowl down for him. When he is thirsty, he will drink. No need to leave the faucet running.
