What kind of budget are you think of? Using the shopping and images feature on Google will give you lots of ideas and you will start to see some common designs. Search "rabbit hutch". Here is one I found with measurements: Free rabbit hutch plans: Plans and material list
If outside make sure your bunnies have shade so they can stay cool. Rabbits do not handle heat well.

I've worked for a lady who has a pretty nice one. No pictures or plans or anything... but it's L-shaped. Part of the L-shape is enclosed (like a doghouse) probably to help keep winter snows out. There is a door on each side of that part to make it easier to clean. Then the front part of the L-shape is all open. It has a roof over it and looks like a little shed. It's built with 4x4's on each corner... 6 in all (5 outside corners, 1 inside corner). 2x4's on their side form the perimeter of the floor, with additional 2x4's every 16" or so like floor joists. Then rabbit screen is stapled to the top of that. 2x4's on their side form the perimeter of the ceiling in the same way. Then a few vertical "wall studs" are installed here and there. She must have put the screen on the walls first, and then laid the floor screen in last.

She told me that she uses screen with a rubber spray on it, because otherwise the urea eats up the galvanized wire.

Sorry I don't have any pics, you'd probably get a kick out of seeing it. Its like a rabbit condo. LOL

I see no reason you could not just use it outside if it was made with the right materials.
