Brushing dog's teeth
My dog is 6 years old now. I was told that it's good to brush the dog's teeth...with dog toothpaste of course. How much is this needed?

It depends on their diet. If you are giving them dry food and an occasional butcher bone little brushing is needed. My wife likes to brush their teeth occasionally (monthly), but she finds with what we are feeding them their teeth stay in pretty good condition. Pay attention to the gum line. Oh, don't get bit

Papabearpitts,
Chandler is right, however it also depends on the breed of dog as well, some are more prone to dental issues. Most vets now recommend dental treats as well as brushing once a week.
Check with your vet and find out their recommendation.
Cheers!
