Question Best Recharger for batteries for Digital

Have a new Fujifilm S5100 that I'm getting used to but need to invest in a re-chargable battery system. (I hope to use them also for my many kids toys etc.) Any ideas....Maha has good ratings...but do I need to spend that much to get good results????

Any ideas are much obliged

Amy,

Sorry I don't have any first hand info on rechargeables except for the one I use.

It's a Radio Shack 23-405, 1 hr charger and I use Eveready NiMH batteries.
I've had them ever since I purchased my Fuji 2800 camera two years ago.
They work as well as when I got them and I've taken almost 7000 pictures.

This one may replace the one I have but I'm not sure if it can charge in 1 hr.

That's a nice camera you have there:

This is very close to what I am thinking about buying but I would find a hotshoe for an external flash very usefull for the kind of photograpy I do.

I'd like to hear how you make out with yours.
