Kodac Easy Share

I recently bought a kodac easy share camera, and i downloaded the software it came with, and now easy share wont let me save any pics. except from my camera. It will save them, but it wont let me open them.

I have a Kodak EasyShare CX4300 (3.2 mp) digital camera and I use another photo editing program called ArcSoft PhotoStudio to edit photos from it and other sources. I download with EasyShare from the camera, and then use ArcSoft.
It's much easier for me than Easyshare, and it works on all photo sources.
I'm not computer literate, so I keep going until I get a system that works. I'm sure that one of the computer experts here can help us both on the subject of Easyshare.

I don't have the Easy Share software but maybe there are some settings amiss.

Firstly, it would be helpfull for me or anyone else to know all the details of your hardware, software and what you are trying to do .

Computer specs, operating system and what "other" pictures you are trying to save.

The more info you can provide the better.

Yes, please provide more details.

What other pics are you trying to save. How are you saving - clicking on file then save, file then save as, or just clicking on the save icon?
What format are you saving them in? jpg, pnf, bmp, ????
What program are you using to save them?
Are you trying to edit them?

After taking a picture with my digital camera, it froze up. Now I can't get it to do anything. On the view screen there is three bars-red,green and blue. It flashes intermitently but that's it. I tried putting in new batteries but it didn't work. The only way to shut it off is to remove the batteries. Is this a trouble code or something? help.... :(

I've been looking for a good Photoblogging service, and I'm having a hell of time finding one. Here's what I'm looking for: 1) something [I]like[/I] but [I]not[/I] Webshots.com - I like the simple, clean setup. I like the drill down thumbnails of albums>thumbnails of photos>photos style. I like having a title for each thumbnail. I like like having an additional captions when you view the photos one by one. (If you're not familiar with webshots, feel free to investigate mine [URL=http://community.webshots.com/user/jessanova08]here[/URL] *please excuse the content, I'm in college) 1.2) I also like Webshots upload software (which, if you've used, is great) and the fact that they resize the photos to 800x600 (if you wan't) to save space and upload times. 1.3) I [B]don't[/B] like the lack of customizeablility and only getting more space for the premium service. 2) I don't have time to write my own web page - or I would - I need something hosted. 3) I'm willing to pay, assuming: There are no ads like [url]http://www.buzznet.com/[/url] has on thier premium service & I have some customizeablility. Also, a lot of so called "photoblog" sites don't offer nearly enough space. The reason I'm asking for suggestions is that there are a lot of sites out there, but from sample blogs, I can't really tell if they have what I want. When I hit the 2000 hit mark on Webshots and ran out of space, I decided my friends deserved something a little cooler. A lot of sample photoblogs are more blog and less album. I want more album and less blog, because I really doubt people care what I think and I doubt I care enought to keep interesting content (other than picture captions). So, most important feature I'm looking for in a hosting service is the ablity to create a clean, simple drill down from the home page album layout without a lot of clutter (but still the ability to stick my thoughts in with the pictures). So please leave any suggestions, experiences with Photoblogging, or thoughts. Thanks a lot.
