Scanner

Hi,
I need to scan hundreds of slides and thousands of 4x6 pictures. Can someone recommend an easy to use scanner that will enable me to make prints out of the digital images?

I had hoped someone could come up with an inexpensive automated solution but a flatbed scanner with a slide/film adapter works fairly well and is not too expensive.

I have an HP 4570c which is an older version of the above and a scan of a slide makes a very good 8 x 10 print.

Bought it a few years ago for the same reason as you and my prints, negs and slides are still tucked in a closet.

I use a Epson V100 PHOTO scanner.
It scans strip 35 mm--slides-- any photo up to 8 1/2 x 11
As it is a scanner only the results are great.
About $100
