Can anyone recommend a free photo sharing site?

Photobucket works for me 2/3rds of the time even when I'm used to it.

No, but I've started a new way of sharing pictures with our daughter in Denver. Download the pictures to a thumb drive (2gig) and mail it to her. She can download what she wants, format it, download her pictures of our grandchildren and send it back to us. It is small and doesn't cost much to mail it, and is impervious to the transit.

Good topic. I can't seem to figure out how to use photobucket or snapfish etc where people don't need to log in to see the pics. Yet I see on the forum how people post links right to the pics.

Here, on the forums, you can either give us the urls or copy/paste the HTML code to the reply post, and the pix will show up in the post. I am assuming you can do that in an email, too. I'll try it and let you know.

I'd like to post a hand drawn simplified HVAC schematic to this forum.

For some reason Photobucket has locked up on a previous drawing of mine and will not upload this new drawing.

Image shack gave me the same "boing" sound that photobucket is now giving me when I want to upload a new photo. What used to work for me doesn't now.

Picasa seemed to work but took me deeper and deeper into Cyberspace to places that I'm not sure I want to go.

Now I have seen two "boing" sounds, so I think I'm doing something wrong.

I've had it for today.
Computers are great when they actually work (and keep working).

Lightbulb

there is also flickr as well, there you can choose to have photo public or private, to enable comments or not, also if you use yahoo, you can integrate your yahoo account as your flickr account. it is free and does not make any noises or have a bandwidth limit (i think per month but not total of life of the account)

hope this has also helped WDIBAA
