Battery recharges andrechargeable batteries.

I have a Panasonic BQ-830 battery charger with Panasonic AA 2300mAh batteries, about 3 years old.I want to replace with new rechargeable batteries.I have found some 2900mah or 2500mah AA. Can I use them in this charger or do I have to get a new charger. Or are batteries and charger married.

As long as the new batteries are NiMH I don't think there will be a problem, especially if you do as NiMH batteries like and do not totally discharge them.

That charger is electronically regulated and it would likely tell you if there was a problem.
