Camera Woes..
HiHi.. Does anyone know how long is the lifespan of a digital camera?
I have mine for about 3 years, and it's starting to show signs of problems. Even after fully charging the batteries, the camera prompts of low battery after just a few shots. And at times, the camera have problems starting up. Can anyone help?

Sounds like you battery may be at the end of its usable life and cannot take a full charge.
Check out the cost of a replacement battery. If it seems high, you may want to consider a new camera instead since they have come down in price and made big improvements in 3 years. The new battery/recharging systems are also better.
The older rchargables have a limited life span.

We had an HP (I think) that came as part of a package deal. Buddy had one like it said we'd love it, and we did, for about 2 1/2-3 yrs. Then it did just as you said yours is. Brand new batteries made no diff. Even putting it in the power dock it still did the same thing.
But, as Dick said, you may need a new battery or even the charger. Try it with regular batteries if it will accept them, if it still does the same, it's prob toast.
